Phantom Screens offers a limited lifetime warranty on all its screens.
Phantom Screens’ products are warranted to the original purchaser for as long as that purchaser owns/resides at that residence, against defects in the material or workmanship as to the products components. The word “defects”, as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections, which impair the utility of the product. This warranty excludes screen mesh and Oversized systems larger than our recommended maximum pull of 1.5 metres per unit, which will billow very easily – a factor that cannot be controlled.
This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of components, excluding mesh. If the product component is defective within the terms of the warranty, Phantom Screens will replace or repair, at its option, the component at no cost. Labour is included for a period of two years from the date of purchase and/or installation and thereafter will be charged for.
This is Phantom’s entire liability and the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy in lieu of all others. This warranty applies under conditions of normal non-commercial use, but does not apply to defects that result from:
- Failure to perform periodic maintenance as outlined in our service guide
- Improper operating or handling
- Unauthorised repairs and/or installations made or attempted by non-Phantom authorised individuals
- Accidents and/or acts of God
- Use of the product in commercial applications
For this warranty to be in effect, a qualified service contractor who is a contracted Distributor and/or their authorised dealer must perform the original installation. Component defects should be reported to the installer of your Phantom Screen, who will carry out the warranty work on behalf of Phantom Screens (Mfg).
Liability for any damages, including but not limited to general, special, indirect, incidental, consequential, aggravated, punitive or exemplary damages and economic loss, as well as for breach of any expresses or implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties or merchantability, quality and fitness for any purpose other than as expressly stated herein, is disclaimed and excluded here from, to the extent such disclaimer and exclusions are permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer or exclusion of liability or the limitation of damages or warranties, so the above disclaimer, exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.
